Our 3D Simulation Modeling Technician (SMT) courses are designed to meet current industry need. The SMT courses incorporate all phases of interactive 3D, real time and virtual reality development. Based on a core of skill sets, the courses at ESCC augment this core learning with a capstone course that transfers the learning from pure to applied. Students and prospective employers gain a skill that is able to support a variety of functions from graphic arts to geographic information systems (GIS).

The 3D SMT program builds to finish with a “Capstone Project”—a project which is intended to serve as the cornerstone of each student’s portfolio.
Our Visual Learning Lab will provide an exciting and stimulating learning environment so that students and faculty can virtually and visually communicate their ideas and discovery. Instructors in the simulation and modeling technician curriculum will utilize the lab consistently while other instructors in science, technology, math or other disciplines may choose to schedule the room for special learning activities.
